EZ Spare Tire and Wheel Limited Warranty
EZ Spare Wheel provides a 3-year limited warranty on the tire and wheel assembly. This warranty begins on the original date of purchase and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Covered manufacturing defects may include:
- Defects in the materials or construction of the wheel
- Structural wheel defects caused by faulty manufacturing
- Tire defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship
- Separation or failure determined to be the result of a manufacturing defect
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by EZ Spare Wheel.
Temporary Spare Tire Use
EZ Spare tires are designed for temporary emergency use only. They are not intended for everyday driving or continuous use as a replacement for a standard passenger tire.
When using the temporary spare:
- Follow the speed and inflation limits shown on the tire sidewall.
- Follow the instructions in your vehicle owner’s manual.
- Drive only as far as necessary to reach a safe location or tire-service facility.
- Limit use to approximately 50 miles whenever possible.
- Replace the temporary spare with a standard tire as soon as possible.
No Tread-Life or Mileage Guarantee
Temporary spare tires do not include a tread-life or mileage guarantee. Because they are intended only for short-term emergency use, normal treadwear and mileage-related wear are not covered by this warranty.
The absence of a tread-life guarantee does not affect coverage for an eligible manufacturing defect during the 3-year warranty period.
What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Treadwear or mileage-related wear
- Punctures, cuts or damage caused by road hazards
- Damage caused by potholes, curbs, debris or impact
- Damage resulting from an accident or collision
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the safe operation of the product
- Improper installation or removal
- Improper tire inflation
- Improper storage or maintenance
- Overloading or exceeding the product’s stated limitations
- Driving beyond the tire’s stated speed or usage limitations
- Regular, continuous or non-emergency use
- Racing, off-road use, commercial misuse or other unintended use
- Alteration, modification, abuse or neglect
- Damage caused by using the product on an incompatible vehicle
Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim, contact EZ Spare Wheel and provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Your order number, if available
- Vehicle year, make, model and trim
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the tire, wheel and alleged defect
EZ Spare Wheel may require the product to be returned or inspected before approving the claim.
If an eligible manufacturing defect is confirmed, EZ Spare Wheel will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product or provide an appropriate refund. Replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original 3-year warranty period.
Tire Changing Kit Warranty
Extended Manufacturer’s Warranty: We extend the manufacturer’s warranty as stated on the product packaging.
Typical Coverage: Scissor jacks and related components typically have a conditional usage warranty lasting up to one year.
Warranty Claims: If you encounter any issues with your tire changing kit, don’t hesitate to contact us and provide the product details and a description of the defect.

Important Limitation
This limited warranty applies only to the EZ Spare tire and wheel product. It does not cover towing, roadside assistance, labor, installation charges, loss of vehicle use or other incidental or consequential expenses, except where prohibited by law.
